Escape the heat-here is a list of splash pads and water parks on the Treasure Coast. These water parks are located in Palm Beach County, St. Lucie County, Martin County, and Indian River County.

Splash pads are interactive water fountains for kids to splash and play in.

They are the perfect idea for hot days and, it’s free to use! One of the best things about splash pads, is that you don’t need to know how to swim, and parents don’t have to get wet.


Water activities near Port Saint Lucie


Pioneer Park Playground

Pioneer Park Playground at the Port District in Port Saint Lucie is now open as of June 15th 2024. The splash pad is located within the fenced in playground, and is open daily from 9a.m to dusk.

This park is located immediately south of the Port Saint Lucie Botanical Gardens. Between these two family things to do in Port Saint Lucie, you can spend the entire day here.

Splash Pad Port Saint Lucie

Seating: Yes, picnic tables with umbrellas

This splash pad is located in Tradition Square, which is surrounded by places to eat. You’ll have your pick from Pastaio- Italian; Taco Dive, and Luso Portuguese restaurants- as well as quicker bites, like Three natives, Kilwins Ice cream, and Tutti Frutti. This is also within a Publix shopping plaza, so you may want to bring a cooler and opt for some pub subs, chips and “fountain” drinks.

MIDFLORIDA Event Center (Civic Center)

9221 SE Event Center Place just west of Village Square

Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m

This is a very large and spacious splash pad!

Seating: Yes, benches-no shade. If you’re spending a couple hours here, bring a portable umbrella, a cooler with plenty to drink and snacks, and sunscreen.

Friday: Open Swim from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Saturday: Open Swim from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Splash Pads in Jensen Beach


Indian Riverside Park

open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the exception of daylight savings time (if applicable) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., inclement weather, regularly scheduled fountain maintenance on Tuesdays as needed, or unless other unexpected maintenance issues arise.

This splash pad is located on the Indian river lagoon, right behind the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast. Make a day of it and visit the interactive exhibits at the museum, play in the sand, and utilize the fountains! This park also has shaded pavilions and big grassy fields for picnics, lawn games.

Water Parks in Stuart


Sailfish Splash

They have a dynamic schedule, so check their website, under “hours.” The park is only open on weekends during some months out of the year.

Splash Pads in Vero Beach


McKee Botanical Gardens

Tuesday – Saturday:10.00am – 4.30pm

Sunday: Noon – 4.30pm

Must purchase admission ticket to the Gardens. Children under 2 years old are free.

Splash Pads on the Treasure Coast

There is an interactive Children’s Garden here. You’ll find a big ship wreck to crawl in and explore, climb and slide down. There’s also several other kids exhibits within this section of the Botanical Gardens.

Royal Palm Pointe Fountains

We love hanging out in Vero Beach. It is such beautiful area and there are so many family things to do.

Fountain Hours:

During Indian River County Public School Year: Saturday/Sunday 10am-3pm

During Indian River County Public School Spring and Summer Breaks: Everyday from 9am-7pm EXCEPT for Tuesdays. (Closed Tuesdays for maintenance.)

Rapids Water Park

The Rapids is huge! From a lazy river, to wave pool, to big slides and little slides, they the Rapids has it all. While a lot of fun, it’s very popular and busy with big parties, field trips, etc.

Lion Country Safari

Lion Country Safari is worth it or not? They do have a splash pad and water park there for kids of all ages.

Palm Beach Zoo

The Palm Beach Zoo has a splash pad!
