Coastal Fall Tablescape
This costal fall tablescape was inspired by the copper colors of coral reefs, and the blue hues of the ocean.
Living in Florida, I try to incorporate local nature and beauty into my home with decor, cooking and education. I do this by using what’s available and sustainable locally, from cooking with what is in season, using seashells to make ghosts for halloween decor, or sea-salt to make a hand scrub.
So in this case, I simply went to the beach and let the inspiration begin. The coastal details are very subtle here-you won’t find any obvious seahorse or starfish designs. Using hints of details in your decor allows the imagination to wander.
To add more coastal details, simply find some starfish pieces or a lighthouse centerpiece.

We got married four years ago and received beautiful fine china as a shower gift. I never had a reason to take it out-and honestly since having two babies in two years, I never thought I would! But for this fall tablescape, I busted out the fine china!
I added the English Lace Collection from Wedgewood to our registry because it was timeless, and I knew I could easily style it with any theme. We have a total set of 12, so if something breaks, I have a backup.
I’ll probably swap these plates out for our regular dishes to use everyday.

Coastal Glassware for Fall tablescape
If you take anything from this blog post, take away the intent to repurpose! These blue goblet wine glasses are from Walmart. My son’s first birthday theme was Winnie the Pooh, and we used them at the guest tables for his party.
It was adorable and as you can imagine, these glasses can be reused over and over again with different color palettes for any themed party or decor style.
How cute are these “leaf” napkins holders? See all the details on styling below.
Styling a Coastal Fall Table
Almost all of the decor is from Home Goods. I layered the table runners with two blue-hues that were in my coastal fall tablescape color scheme. The placemats are a natural woven paper that is durable and heat resistant-I thought it added a touch of coastal.
I love how this tablescape turned out! The colors are deep, inviting, and ready for some memories. Before you go, check out my Fall Backyard Movie Night post– on how to setup a projector in your backyard!
