spend the day at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. This is a truly amazing day-date because it’s not your average, sit on the beach activity-but I suggest doing that as well, because this state park is so lovely!

I have an easy itinerary for you- First, leave your beach bags in the car. It’s $6 per vehicle to park at the state park.

Then I would go on the kayak tour, which is guided for 2-2.5 hours. You’ll be in clear kayaks so that you can see the water as you move through mangrove tunnels!  Spot and search for manatees and other awesome marine life. Next, head back to your car and grab all that you need for a setup on the beach.

Camp out until you’ve had enough sun and then finally, go hit the scene in downtown Fort Pierce to wrap up the perfect date night.

I highly recommend planning your visit when the Dueling Piano show is going on! This is such a great, free show, if you’re looking for things to do in Port Saint Lucie. You’re almost guaranteed something fun is happening with this brewery’s fun schedule at any given time.

They’ve got bingo, live music, tons of specials, and a lunch club. Not to mention, the food is fantastic!

Think pretzels, breakfast burritos on Sundays, burgers, nachos, funnel fries and so much more. Eat and drink to your hearts content in this fun environment. The vibe here is just happy, so beware-you maymake some new friends!

This is completely free to do, and so nice. It’s 1200 feet long, so if you’re counting steps, it’s a win. The jetty, or otherwise known as a pier, is a long paved path to walk alongside the Atlantic Ocean. You’ll see fisherman, as this is a great spot to catch some fish, and you’ll see a spectacular sunrise-one of the best! I suggest grabbing a bite at one of the many local places to drink and eat nearby, and then grabbing an ice cream for your stroll on the jetty. Our fave is Cream Republic.
