No need for stressing out about what to be for halloween, or how to keep it affordable because the simplest costumes turn out the best!

I’ve rounded up over 30 cheap Halloween family costumes that are easy, DIY, and budget-friendly!

Pro Tip: Micheals Crafts store will save you money when making costumes. They have tons of online coupons- so be sure to check on their site.

The Little Mermaid had to be in the Under-the-sea category! It’s a classic, and they even let their fur baby dress up as Flounder!

Mom and dad’s outfits are very affordable to recreate, and you may already have these items in your closet. (minus Ariel’s wig)

For the lobster, get a red onesie or outfit with long sleeves, and a red cap. Hot glue gun some red pipe cleaners on top of the cap and two large red pom poms. Then glue on your craft store eye balls.

Total cost: around $40
