We need new supplies for the kids and the teachers/class. How about meals/snacks and lunches!

Once your child is in middle school, you won’t remember the daunting mornings of rushing, packing lunches, or driving all over the place.
You’ll remember these sweet moments, and have pictures to remind you.

The new school year is coming up, and you’re probably looking for easy and cute ways to take photos of your little scholar!

When my son was starting part time at a little pre-k school, I wanted an easy photo prop to make.

I also wanted a free or cheap back to school craft that we could do together.

and mostly, I wanted to capture the moment, and cherish it forever! These days are so precious.

Materials:

Printer for free template 

12 inch ruler

scissors

Hot glue gun 

ribbon

Embellishments of your choice

How to make a back to school flag

Making our first day of school craft was so simple.

Everything from start to finish is quick, cheap, fun, and easy-just how it should be when you’ve got a million things to do before going back to School!

1. Click the flag to download the free printable flag templates. Choose between Pre-k through 5th grade. Enjoy different color options. Be sure to change the range settings to only select the pages you need to print. Next, print, cut and hot glue the back of the ruler onto the front of the flag.

2. Cut some ribbon about twice the length of the ruler and tie around it. Add embellishments of your choice.

3.That’s it—you’re ready to celebrate a fresh start!
