As we stepped into the new year, many of us felt pressured to create long lists of resolutions. But what if we shifted our focus to something simpler; something more intentional?

Follow along to find out all about one word intentions.

One Word Intentions: A Simple Way to Transform Your New Year

Setting a one word intention for the year creates a lasting change, which helps us create a greater impact without overwhelming ourselves trying to keep up with a resolution list. I want you to take a moment with me as you read this blog with intentionality on exploring your one word for the year if you don’t have one yet.

Your one word can truly create a mindset shift for you that will transform your world. One may ask how will one word do this for me? Here is how: it can transform your mindset, guide your actions, and help you live your life with purpose throughout the year.

Usually new years resolutions are often forgotten by February, on the other hand your one word serves as a constant reminder of the person you want to become and the life you desire. Are you tired of being in your own way?

Here how you can begin to change that by just changing what was once a phrase you would say has now magically turned into one word. What a game changer, right? I dare you to give it a try.

Instead of saying, “I will lose weight” or “I will save more money,” you might choose words like:

  • Health to focus on physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Abundance to remind yourself of the blessings you want to attract.
  • Courage to face your fears and step outside your comfort zone.

I guarantee choosing one word will simplify your goals. (it has for me.) I personally started doing my intention one word since 2018 and it truly does help me stay grounded especially when life throws us curve balls and can sometimes throw us off course.

Here’s why it works:
