Bagel Bistro
Start your morning off right with the best bagels in Jupiter. There are two locations: Hobe Sound and Tequesta (both are within a few miles of each other)
Blowing Rocks Preserve
This beautiful natural rock formation, the Blowing Rocks Preserve, is a site to see when the waves rush through the blow holes. The protected park is beautifully maintained and the perfect spot for photos.
Busch Wildlife Sanctuary
This free kid-activity in Jupiter is the perfect place for animal enthusiasts to discover. The brand new location was built in 2023 and it is beautifully crafted. Enjoy a walk-through of rescued wildlife, like bears, lions, bobcats, birds, reptiles, and so much more. The sanctuary has a small play space with covered pavilions, an outdoor amphitheater for shows and stories, and a nature center with kid-friendly exhibits. The sanctuary is free to the public and appreciates donations.
Catos Beach Bridge
There is a hidden gem along the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway and south of the Jupiter Inlet, under the catos bridge. This clear blue water is ideal for swimming and snorkeling due to a big drop-off. However, the shore is shallow. The water is crystal clear all day, and is a great spot for kayaking, paddle boarding and docking the boat.
Downtown Palm Beach Gardens
While not in Jupiter, it’s close enough and I had to mention it:
The Carousel
The Merry-go-round is such a joy for the kids and is open daily from 11am-7pm.
Fountains
In this beautifully kept outdoor shopping mall, you’ll notice interactive fountains that kids often come dressed in swimsuits and splash around. Check out other splash pads and fountains in Palm Beach County.
Boutiques
You’ll love strolling through and looking in kids clothing boutiques, furniture shops, and speciality stores
Eats
Grimaldi’s is my personal favorite (amazing pizza) but you can also enjoy the Cheesecake Factory, the Yardhouse or a great Mexican spot to name a few. We like to head over to FroYotopia as well for a frozen yogurt!
Dubois Park
A very popular and free beach park is equipped with shallow waters, a sandbar that is ideal for littles to play on in the water, a playground, plenty of picnic tables and grills, and a historic home. The DuBois Pioneer Home was built in 1898, and is one of the only buildings standing of its kind in Palm Beach County. This is also a place to snorkel, as I’ll get into more below.
Glamping
Camping just got better in Jupiter with the newest glamping tents in Jonathon Dickinson State Park. My kids had a blast on these campgrounds, making a fire and roasting marshmallows, and exploring the state park. Plus, our tents were so comfortable and clean!
Harbourside Place
Harbourside Place is a waterfront, outdoor shopping mall with retail, dining, and events. They have popup markets, and concerts at the ampitheatre. You can board a pontoon cruise here, or purchase a day pass to the Wyndham Jupiter and utilize their pool.
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Museum
One of the most popular attractions in Jupiter is the lighthouse! The iconic 1860, red landmark is in a beautiful park, surrounded by beauty and nature. Admission gets you a guided tour to the top of the lighthouse, access to scenic hiking trails on the north and south side of Beach Road, an observation boardwalk over the water, a small playground for kiddos, leisure waterfront activities such as fishing, paddle boarding and bird watching.
Other fun things to do are have a picnic, or utilize the soccer fields, tennis and pickleball courts.
Jupiter Donuts
The best donuts in town are by far, Jupiter Donuts-handcrafted and so fresh.
Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf
This super family-friendly, mini golf course in Jupiter, features a covered and fenced in playground, a restaurant (The Burger Shack) and an ice-cream shop. It’s located very close to Dubois Park, so we love to hang out here after a beach day for a margarita, some fish dip, wings, and one of their kids items. The ice-cream after is top-notch!
My Gym
This indoor play space in Jupiter is a gym with soft mats and obstacles courses, and other gymnastic equipment. They offer various classes from 6 months old, from music and movement to ninja Classes. They do birthday parties here as well- great idea to beat the heat.
Ohana Cruises
We had the best experience with Ohana Cruises at Burt Reynolds Park The captain, Ricardo is a cool Jupiter native, an excellent tour-guide, and a father of two. The pontoon was family-friendly and our captain provided beach toys, a giant “lily pad” raft for the kids to float on, and drinks for everyone.
Roger Dean Stadium
Baseball is always a fun idea with kids! They often do events like “Dino night” etc. Check out the Roger Dean Stadium schedule
Kayaking
Jupiter has some wonderful places to kayak and paddle board. Let the experts handle your tour! Two of the best companies to use are:
Get Up and Go Kayaking-Clear Bottom Kayak
Loggerhead Marine Center
The marine center is a donation only, non-profit turtle rescue and rehabilitative center for our precious sea turtles! View them in large saltwater tanks, as well as other fish and sharks. Play in the interactive water table, and view the jellyfish tank.
You can create your own fish and watch it swim across the huge display screen. There is also a “Tortuga Cafe,” where you can purchase food and snacks and enjoy at the covered pavilions. They have the best gift shop, too!
Restaurants in Jupiter, Florida
Jupiter has so many great places to eat with kids.
Lynora’s
Lynora’s is th best Italian food in Jupiter. They have quite a few more locations and are expanding to the Treasure Coast as well. Their pizza is incredible-especially the margherita. Brunch is amazing- with handmade cocktails, breakfast pizza, and more.
Guanabanas
waterfront-best ambience and American food with an island twist.
Beacon
waterfront with lighthouse view- great food (smaller portions) and there is a courtyard with a turf area that I find helpful to entertain kids in between courses. Also a major bonus is a little “beach” that is accessible from the outdoor patio. I actually kicked off my sandals after dinner and looked for shells here with my toddler.
Lucky Shuck
waterfront with lighthouse view-right next door to Beacon (above) Both share the courtyard. Delicious food.
Little Moir’s Food Shack
fresh and handcrafted seafood and other unique menu items.
Captain Charley’s Reef Grill
Considered a hidden gem since its in an ordinary plaza, Charley’s has amazing seafood-Jupiter’s goto spot for locals.
Tiki 52
Tiki 52 is an outdoor dinging under the palm trees, water views, live music, very casual with island vibes-kids love it.

Riverbend Park
Riverbend Park is a popular spot in Jupiter for canoeing, kayaking and beautiful photos. It is lush and beautiful, and features a shaded, paved trail for biking up to 10 miles.
Snorkeling
My advice for snorkelers is to observe flags, check for water conditions, wear flippers, watch out for boats, barnacles, and go with a friend! Wear bright colors (not blue or green.)
The best places to snorkel in Jupiter:
Carlin Park
Ideal for both beginners and experienced snorkelers, Carlin Park-between Indiantown and Donald Ross road, is a favorite place for dolphins, sting rays, and a variety of fish.
Cato’s Bridge
ideal for experienced snorkelers, but as mentioned before, it’s a great place to snorkel. It has a steep drop, and the current can be strong. You can easily stay in the shallow areas. You may spot lobsters, crab, fish, shrimp, sting rays, turtles, octopus and squid.
This spot is 1/2 mile south of the Blowing Rocks Preserve (a must do in Jupiter)
The rock formations attract reef fish, turtles, sharks and string rays.
There is a playground and a lifeguard. Stay safe!

Located on the Jupiter Inlet, this park is a great place for beginner snorkelers, and the park itself is very kid-friendly.
Phil Foster Park
This area underneath the Blue Heron Bridge is ideal for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. You may see many variety of fish, squid and octopus.
Sweet Frog
The best frozen yogurt with every candy topper imaginable!
Watch the Sunset
Jupiter has beautiful sunsets. Get a great view at Jupiter Beach Park, or any restaurant that faces west! The sunsets are absolutely stunning and are sure to lift your spirit and have you reflecting on a wonderful day well-spent in paradise.
We Rock the Spectrum-Tequesta (Jupiter)
This is a great indoor play space in Jupiter. It features sensory play, patted mats, suspended equipment, arts and crafts area, trampolines and much more. Definitely a nice place to check out! Here is a full list of Indoor playgrounds in Palm Beach County.
White Trail Farm
A beautiful and whimsical rose farm with touches of European charm and elegance in the architecture and landscaping. This farm has plenty to do for kids, including battery-powered tractors for riding down the trail to the “beach” or seeing the farm animals! Pet and feed donkeys, miniature horses, bunnies and goats. Play in the sensory boxes of toys, and swing on the rustic and charming tire swings. Top off your hay day pass experience with Ice cream pops inside the gift shop.
