Thanksgiving lands on November 27, 2025, this year, and if you’re like me, between chasing after kids and cleaning messes, the last thing you want is a kitchen marathon.

As a mom of three who’s grabbed take-out more than once when plans went sideways, I’ve scouted the best local spots in St. Lucie for meals to go.

Why Go for Take-Out Thanksgiving in St. Lucie?

Let’s be real, sometimes life throws curveballs like unexpected guests or a packed schedule. Take-out means you skip the grocery haul and hours of prep, yet still get that homey turkey vibe.

This can be a lifesaver for smaller families who don’t need a massive bird.

I’ve tried this route a couple of times, once when my oven decided to quit mid-November. It turned out great, allowing me more time to play games and hang out with family.

Grocery Store Picks: Quick and Budget-Friendly Thanksgiving To-Go

Grocery chains on the Treasure Coast that offer Thanksgiving meals.

Publix: The Go-To for Classic Comfort

Publix has locations all over St. Lucie, like in Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce, making pickup easy. Their holiday meals include a fully cooked turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry relish, and rolls. Prices start around $50 for a meal serving 7-10, but check your local store for exact 2025 deals. What stands out? The turkey is juicy, not dry like some reheats, and portions are generous for leftovers.

As a busy mom, I love how easy it is to add extras like their pumpkin pie. Just heat and serve; no one will guess it wasn’t homemade.

Winn-Dixie: Affordable Deals for Families

With stores in Fort Pierce and beyond, Winn-Dixie offers a $30 meal deal featuring a 15-pound frozen Butterball turkey plus SE Grocers sides like green beans and stuffing. It’s ideal for budget-conscious feasts!

Fresh Market

The Fresh Market is offering a range of pre-made Thanksgiving meal options this year, focusing on convenience with fully cooked or easy-to-reheat items. These include complete meals for small gatherings or large crowds, plus smaller kits for two.

We did this once and if you’re thinking about not having enough, just order a little bit extra because not having leftovers on thanksgiving is just not okay.

Ordering is available online at catering.thefreshmarket.com or in-store, starting from mid-October (typically Oct. 15) through Nov. 25 by 2 p.m. for next-day prep. Pickup is generally available Nov. 25–27, 2025, in reusable thermal boxes (while supplies last). Prices range from about $19.99 for smaller crowds, meals to $199.99 for family feasts. Note: Exact prices may vary slightly by location; check your local store for confirmation.

If you’re near a Whole Foods (closest in nearby Palm Beach Gardens, but worth the drive for clean ingredients), they start orders October 26. Menus serve 4-12, starting at $90.

Local Restaurants and Caterers

St. Lucie’s eateries bring personality to take-out. These spots often use local produce, adding a Sunshine State flair. Call ahead for 2025 specifics, as menus can tweak yearly.

Creative Catering: Personalized Meals for Any Size

Based in Port St. Lucie, Creative Catering offers to-go dinners starting at $29.95 per person. The menu features all-white turkey breast with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, rolls, and pumpkin pie. They cater to groups of one or more, with pickup at St. Lucie Trail Golf Club.

Oak & Ember Steakhouse: Upscale Take-Out with Steakhouse Vibes

With spots in Port St. Lucie and Stuart, Oak & Ember offers Thanksgiving to-go, though details emerge closer to the date. Their food is always delicious!

Cracker Barrel: Homestyle Favorites Ready to Heat

No surprise that Cracker Barrel has those traditional dishes for thanksgiving! Heat & Serve meals, available for pickup November 22-30. Options include oven-roasted turkey breast, cornbread dressing, gravy, cranberry relish, sweet potato casserole, and pies for $14.49 each. Meals serve 4-6 for about $110.

Golden Corral: Buffet-Style To-Go for Variety

Golden Corral’s holiday meals to go include turkey, sides like mashed potatoes and corn, rolls, and pie. Expect prices around $100 for a family pack.

Bob Evans: Farm-Fresh Feasts If Nearby

Fort Pierce offers a Farmhouse Feasts by November 25. Includes turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and pie. Serves 8-10 for $130-ish.

Free or Low-Cost Options for a Treasure Coast Thanksgiving
