Strawberry Festivals in Florida
Florida is the winter strawberry capital of the world since the early 1900’s. Way back when, people would have festivals to celebrate the seasons or harvests, and strawberries were, and still are, an important part of agriculture and history in the sunshine state.
Strawberry season in Florida is every during the winter! You can enjoy fresh strawberries at many farms throughout the state from November through May.

The original strawberry festival is in Plant City every spring, and it’s a major event! The town throws a big party with entertainment, a parade, rides, attractions, and of course strawberries! You can get strawberry short cake, milkshakes and so much more.
