The Bass Pro Santa Experience

It’s almost that time of year already. The big guy in the red suit will be visiting us! Yes, I mean it. SANTA is on his WAY, but not only to your home-he is on his way to BASS PRO SHOPS beginning early November.

When it comes to taking your kids to visit Santa, you want to make sure the experience is magical and one they can remember forever. You also want to make sure that:

1. Your kids have FUN
2. The wait time is short, because let’s be honest, kids do not wait!

Bass pro has all those topics covered-it is magical, fun, quick, and a core memory will be unlocked!

Bass Pro Santa pictures

At Bass Pro, Santa is always a sweet older gentleman, who sometimes looks a little bit country (I mean, it is Bass Pro)! Santa makes sure to speak to each kid individually and gives them their floor time to ask for their special items.

Santa also passes out candy canes and then poses with the kids for their picture. This picture will generally be super cute and will be one you save for years and years to come! Not to mention, it’s FREE! Each family receives a 4×6 photo on the same day. How can you beat that?

If you choose to buy more pictures, you will have to pay, but they are way more affordable than any other Santa picture shops I have ever attended.

The optional picture packages start at about $20.

Santa’s Elves

Not only does Bass Pro offer a delightful Santa experience, but they also deliver a magical elf experience. Santa’s Elves are helpful and kind, fun and sweet. They assist the parents with getting that smile that everyone wants, and they take their time with all kiddos.

I would say these elves are patient with all children and would venture to say this is a safe Santa workshop for students of all abilities. Santa, the Elves and the decorations will make for a very magical experience for children and parents alike.

Christmas activities at Bass Pro

Bass pro goes above and beyond making this experience enjoyable for all the kids. It’s not only a time to visit Santa, but also a time to make more family memories.

After you visit Santa, there are a variety of games and activities that you and your children can visit.

They have archery, blocks, kinetic sand tables, craft tables, and they also provide you with a pre-made letter to write Santa. These areas are always perfectly placed near the toy department so it makes for a perfect time for the children to shop for items they might want for Christmas, and they can add them to their list.

Once their letter is complete, they can drop it in the Santa mailbox that they have on site. Make sure to snap a picture of that!

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations to visit Santa’s Wonderland are recommended, but not required. There will be two lines for accommodating both walk-ins and reservations. Select your nearest location and reserve your spot for Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro.

If you’re still wanting to hang around after you visit Santa, the store makes the whole place so kid-friendly. Some locations have a huge tank with many fish with signs describing the different types of fish. Some locations also have a restaurant inside of their store.

This can make for a fun “I spy” or “seek and find game.”

It’s always fun to do a little Christmas shopping while you are there. Grab a fishing pole, camoflauge shirt, or even some beef jerky on the way out. Before you leave for the day, snap a picture of your child on the four-wheeler out front. My Kids can never pass that up!

How long is Santa at Bass Pro shops?

You can enjoy Santa and the festivities at Bass Pro Shop from the beginning of November all the way through Christmas Eve!

All in all, you can probably spend a nice hour inside Bass Pro at Christmas time. Visiting Santa, Shopping and making those important memories with family. Have a Magical time!
