The Best Playgrounds on the Treasure Coast
These playgrounds are all suggestions that are tried and true. We have visited them all, plenty of times, and they still rank the highest for the best playgrounds on the Treasure Coast.
We like to rotate around all of the playgrounds on this list so our kids don’t get bored or outgrow them.
Are you looking for playgrounds in St. Lucie, Martin, and Indian River Counties?
You’ve come to the right place!
These are the BEST playgrounds on the Treasure Coast and here’s why:
Shade: An obvious desirable park feature because of Florida’s fierce heat
Fenced in: Gives parents a break from chasing toddlers around the park
Safe Floor: comfort under the feet, and less of a hazard for curious tots.
Playgrounds in Stuart
Kiwanis Park, Shepard park, and Sewall’s Point Park, are the top three Playgrounds in Stuart. Read more to find out why.
(Fenced in, Some shaded play areas, Rubber or turf floor, Shaded pavilions, Restrooms)
This playground is in a great location. It’s close to downtown places to eat and shop. You can hang out here before checking out Things to do in Stuart Florida with kids.
Kiwanis Park
(Fenced in; Shaded; Rubber floor, Restrooms + disability accessible )
This is another great playground in Stuart with a nice boardwalk over St. Lucie River. The playground is not very big, but it it has BBQ grills, benches, bicycle racks, boat launch, water fountains, a pavilion, picnic tables, a fishing dock, and there is electric available.

Sewall’s Point Park
S Sewalls Point Rd, Sewall’s Point, FL 34996
Sewall’s Point Park is truly a gem in a very small community within Stuart. We were graciously recommended to visit by two different local parents. They both said it was a great park with a nice view, and it did not disappoint. We love it!
Things we noticed:
-well shaded
-mulch
-fenced in on one side
-not a big parking lot
-a large sandbox
-one porta-potty
-one covered pavilion that you may reserve if you are a resident of Sewall’s Point
-across from Harbour Bay plaza where you can eat and shop.
-good for a beach day/ picnic area in the grass
-A small cove with low hanging trees to climb
-about 3 park benches

Playgrounds in Jensen Beach
Here are two of my favorite playgrounds in Jensen Beach, Florida
(Fenced in; All shade; Rubber floor; Ceiling fans, Restrooms)
This playground is completely covered which Is great for really hot days, and even rain. The parking lot is huge, so you shouldn’t need to worry about finding a spot. This playground isn’t far at all from Federal Highway, where a lot of restaurants and businesses are, including the Treasure Coast Mall.
Pineapple Park
(Fenced in; Shaded; Turf; On site of Jensen Beach Elementary School)
The playground is open to the public on weekdays from 6-9pm, and on weekends 8am-9pm.

Kid’s Crossing

I love this playgound! I just wish it was shaded. It’s right near the water, so swimming, fishing, boating and all of that are available. There is a toddler playground and one for bigger kids. The equipment here is really fun and unique. There is a zipline that the kids love!
Jaycee Park
Playgrounds in Vero Beach
The top playgrounds in Vero Beach, Florida are Pocahontas Park, and Riverside Park South.
I suggest checking out my other popular post If you are looking for Kid-Friendly things to do in Vero Beach.
(Fenced in; Some shade; Mulch; Restrooms)
This playground is within walking distance to a few local shops and eats. Rio Coco Beans is serving up delicious coffee roasted on site, tea, and smoothies. They also have pastries, wraps, salads, and sandwiche
Please note, that although this is a great park which the city hosts many events at, and is known for being next to the historical citrus museum, the area has become more populated with unsheltered folks. Always be aware of your surroundings.
Pocahontas Park
