Where to Try Horseback Riding Near St.Lucie
It may feel overwhelming deciding on which equestrian center to choose, so I’ve made a helpful list of where to try horseback riding near St. Lucie.
Since the majority of the horseback riding is in St. Lucie County, this list will include a breakdown of places you can ride horses in St. Lucie, Martin County, and Indian River County.

Horseback riding in St.Lucie County
Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce have many stables that offer horseback lessons, riding for fun, and camps for kids.

Saddle up! This is one of the few beaches in the state of Florida that offers horseback riding on the beach. The secluded beach is the perfect setting for a beautiful and scenic ride on a majestic horse. They offer group and private tours.
McCarty Ranch– Port Saint Lucie

The McCarty Ranch is a preserve In Port Saint Lucie with many different amenities including a 0.5 mile horse trail around Lake John, plus another multi-use trail shared with bikers and hikers.
Other amenities include bike trails, hiking trails, camping, fishing, canoeing, and public events. One of the best events is their hayride/bonfire in October and February.
