Glamping Near Me: Martin County and Palm Beach County

When you’re searching for glamping near me: Martin County and Palm Beach County may not be the first thing that comes to mind.

But now, Timberline Glamping established its glamorous camping tents in Jonathon Dickinson State Park-the largest State Park in SouthEast Florida.

The park spreads from the Northern part of Martin County to Jupiter, Florida. There is so much to do in the park, itself. I’ll get to all that, but first let’s check out the beautiful glamping tents!

Glamping Tents in Jupiter, Florida

The Tents are modern, clean, and comfortable with an AC and heating unit in each one. Having AC while camping in South Florida is so necessary.

The night we stayed was actually on the cooler side, so we turned it off!

You’ll walk in a notice the crisp feel of the tent which is unlike any other camping experience you’ve ever had!

Our spacious tent had windows, hard-wood flooring, comfortable bedding, as well as a refrigerator that held our perishable items and of course, S’Mores kit.

There was a Keurig machine with pods included and that saved me! I am definitely a coffee person first thing in the morning.

We were excited to see a large Jenna puzzle, hammocks, a coat rack, and nice decor such as rugs and throws to make us feel at home in our tent. It really made us feel welcomed and excited about booking our first-ever clamping experience at Timberline Glamping.

The park is equipped with an amphitheatre, boat ramp, cabins for rent, concession, gardens, historic site and the Hobe mountain tower which can be climbed for amazing views of the park, intracoastal and ocean. Laundry, showers and bathrooms are on site.

There are biking and hiking trails, as well as horseback riding trails. There is a swimming pool, playgrounds, and a museum. pets are permitted!

Our camping itinerary

We checked in a 3pm and scoped our tent and surrounding area, All of the bathrooms are within walking distance to the tents-a win for us girls!

There is also a playground within walking distance to the glapmsite (and another one you should drive to.)

We went to explore and play, then came back to have our dinner that we had packed. We then got the S’mores kit from the tent that our hosts provided for us. This was so much fun and I recommend adding this on because it had the fire starter in it!

The S’mores were delicious and my toddler was so excited to be doing this activity with us. After that we hung out in the tent and played games before bed. The next morning is when we explored the trails, nature center, and did some walking. Being outdoors is always fun with kids because they love spotting all the wildlife.

Things we brought on a Florida camping trip

Since we only stayed one night, we didn’t need a whole lot. We did bring our regular bags for a sleepover, but we also added a few other items, such as, our projector and my laptop so we could watch a movie on the inside of the tent at the end of the night.

Keep in mind you can park your vehicle right in front of your tent if you need to keep anything secure inside. We did bring a tent lock, so we could lock our tent while we slept or left the grounds.

We also brought but did not need to use bug spray, flashlights, a first-aid kit, some extra batteries.

Fun things to bring for kids when camping in Florida

Walkie talkies, scooter or bike, and a scavenger hunt kit, but if you don’t have one you can get that at the nature center. They will have activities about types of wildlife you can find in the area and that way, you can cross them off!

We truly enjoyed our experience with Timberline Glamping. Since they opened, they have been booked! So be sure to book your stay in advance. Happy glamping!
